Could you be our future Americas RAM Department Head located in Pittsburgh, PA? What will you do? You will join the Alstom Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) product line asAMERICAS RAM
Department Head to lead and manage RAM discipline & a team of 15 RAM engineers located on Pittsburgh, Toronto & Sao Paulo sites. You will be in charge to identify & develop strategies to maximize RAM performance & positively influence the design choices of our products & technical solutions to integrate resilience into our decision core, and that to ensure that our approach & decisions integrate RAM principles into every stage. For that, you will be accountable of RAM discipline over the lifecycle phases and you will ensure that the choices and decisions are implemented to satisfy regulations, Customers' requirements & needs, but also Alstom RAM principles. In this role, you will report directly to theD&IS RAM
Director and you will be assigned to the NAM Engineering Director to whom you will report as dotted line. Your key responsibilities will be to: Manage RAM discipline onD&IS AMERICAS
(NAM + LAM) region and sites, ManageD&IS RAM
Engineers (15 people), Manage RAM workload and workforce balance (skills, capacity, hiring process, etc.), Continuously improve RAM discipline in strong link withD&IS RAM
Director and RAM Center of Excellence, Commit to Quality Cost Delivery for Tenders, Projects and Programs activities, Act asAMERICAS RAM
authority and develop/animate the growth of the RAM discipline onD&IS NAM & LAM
sites, Ensure the correct application of Alstom standard RAM Process, Methods, Tools and guarantee the high level of quality of the RAM activities and deliverables, Ensure internal and external Customer satisfaction and RAM acceptance. Internally, you will interface with the Projects and Programs Core teams, the Engineering disciplines leaders (System, Hardware, Software, Verification & Validation, etc.), but also with the Cybersecurity, Safety, Tenders, Sourcing, Installation, Warranty & Maintenance teams. You will also be in contact with customers, suppliers and subcontractors, and with the worldwideD&IS RAM
community. Who are you? Strong & successful experience in team management, effort estimation, ability to delegate activities and manage priorities, Organized, structured, and good ability to decide with strong leadership, Ability to support the team when needed and to support/elaborate plan/solution to deliver, Specific hands-on experience in RAM/RAMS and MasteringRAM/RAMS
