Job Description

Summary:
Project Engineer managing Engineering Change Proposals for a vehicle program while supporting sustainability, reliability, cost improvement, technical compliance, and cross-functional engineering execution. Job Requirements Experience managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) Experience supporting vehicle programs through engineering change, product improvement, or lifecycle support Experience coordinating with design authority engineering teams and suppliers Experience tracking ECP progress, performing risk analysis, and coordinating stakeholder reviews Experience troubleshooting technical issues and supporting maintainability improvements Experience supporting logistics with technical data, provisioning documentation, and maintenance manuals Experience assisting quality teams with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and production support Experience reviewing technical documentation for compliance with customer and program requirements Experience supporting design reviews, configuration management, and systems integration activities Experience contributing to validation and verification planning for engineering changes Experience preparing technical reports and change justifications Experience interfacing with government representatives during reviews, inspections, and audits Preferred Skills Experience with military vehicle programs Experience supporting U.S. Government or defense customers Experience with configuration management Experience with systems integration Experience supporting reliability, sustainability, and cost improvement initiatives Job Responsibilities Manage Engineering Change Proposals for a vehicle program Lead U.S.-side development, coordination, and implementation of ECPs Coordinate with design authority engineering teams and suppliers Ensure engineering proposals support long-term vehicle sustainability, reliability improvements, and cost efficiency Track ECP progress, perform risk analysis, and coordinate internal and external reviews Partner with technicians to troubleshoot technical issues and improve maintainability Support logistics teams with technical data, provisioning documentation, and maintenance manuals Assist quality teams with root cause analysis, corrective action development, and production support Serve as an engineering liaison across technicians, logistics, quality, and program management teams Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with customer specifications and requirements Support design reviews, configuration management, and systems integration efforts Contribute to validation and verification plans for engineering changes Collaborate with program managers to align ECP milestones with contract deliverables Interface with government representatives during reviews, inspections, and audits Prepare and present technical reports and change justifications for customer briefings
