Distribution Designer Job Description We are seeking a talented Distribution Designer/Engineer to join our team in Linthicum Heights, MD. In this role, you will work closely with a leading engineering firm and support a variety of electrical projects. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in BGE processes, standards, and technical specifications for both commercial and residential project types. Responsibilities Collect information from client stakeholders and end users to create preliminary design packages. Develop detailed design packages that meet BGE standards and specifications. Collaborate with drafters, designers, and engineers to ensure project success. Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Essential Skills Experience working on BGE electric distribution projects. Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, and GIS. Strong skills in distribution design and electrical design. Ability to work independently on BGE projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Asset Suite 8 workload management system. Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field. Knowledge of drafting and power distribution. Work Environment This role requires working three days per week in the Linthicum Heights office, embedded within a partner firm's office. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linthicum Heights, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
