//trekai.org/. The Role We're looking for an Engineering Program Manager to own coordination across engineering and contractor work-streams. This role reports to the Director of Engineering and partners closely with Product and the CTO. What You'll Do Drive execution across engineering, product, and contractor teams, owning schedules, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones. Translate priorities into execution plans with clear milestones, owners, and acceptance criteria. Manage dependencies, risks, blockers, and decisions across concurrent initiatives. Stay close enough to technical details to understand scope, dependencies, tradeoffs, and risks, and know when to escalate. Coordinate across contractor and engineering teams, holding teams accountable for delivery quality and surfacing performance gaps. Maintain visibility into deliverables, status, progress, spend, and resource allocation across work-streams. Who You Are Strong experience driving complex, multi-team initiatives across internal and contractor teams, in an engineering context (5+ years of direct or equivalent experience). Exceptionally organized and operationally strong, with systems that make work visible and keep people accountable. Technical fluency. You can follow engineering conversations well enough to track scope, dependencies, risks, and decisions. Strong written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences. Comfortable using AI development tools like Claude Code or Codex. Nice to Have Computer Science/Engineering experience. Experience in Education domain. Experience with data privacy compliance in sensitive domains (e.g., COPPA, FERPA, GDPR). Location Wichita, KS or Atlanta, GA based preferred. Open to remote candidates working in the Eastern time zone, with occasional travel for planning sessions and team collaboration.
