Job Description

About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead the execution and management of engineering for complex power, industrial, and chemical projects. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and will be responsible for managing project scope, budget, and schedule across large, high-value projects. What You'll Do Serve as the primary client contact and represent the organization in meetings with clients, partners, and external stakeholders Own project scope, budget, and schedule on assigned projects, including estimates on projects up to $200MM total installed cost (TIC) Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers and designers to deliver projects efficiently and cost-effectively Communicate effectively with clients, senior leadership, discipline leads, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate execution and resolve issues Lead and facilitate project meetings with project teams, clients, vendors, and contractors Review team deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and quality Visit client facilities and job sites as needed to support project execution and information gathering Partner with the Business Development team to support new client development and pursuit of new projects Collaborate with sister companies to execute work outside the core organization as required Mentor and support other Project Managers on an ongoing basis Who They're Looking For A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is preferred Minimum 15 years of total experience , including: - At least 7 years of design engineering experience with increasing responsibility on power, industrial, and/or chemical projects in a consulting engineering environment- At least 5 years of experience serving as a Project Manager Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage client relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to clients for proposals and project status updates Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Proficiency with standard office tools and spreadsheets PE license preferred Ideal Candidate Profile A seasoned engineering project manager who thrives in client-facing leadership roles Someone comfortable owning large, complex projects from kickoff through completion A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring others and building strong project teams

Work out of the Birmingham office 5 days per week. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
