TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel required up to 25-35% of the year depending on TAR occurrences and assignments Must have ability to take trips during the Planning Phase to gather information necessary to properly plan work scope defined Required to be on-site for the duration of the Outage Execution timeframe to coordinate contractors executing planned work scopes, and to ensure Safe Work Practices and QAQC processes are being followed. Timeframes vary but an average outage duration is 30-45 days
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead assigned portion of outage scope through planning and construction Develop scope for assigned work orders within the outage, identifying secondary and/or support disciplines required. Create detailed planning activities for each work order utilizing planning templates as applicable. Activities include individual tasks, Client, durations, and assigned discipline Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution Create job planning packages for each work order per Client guidelines for both internal and external distribution, e.g., bid events, contractor field personnel, etc. Packages may include pictures, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, safe work procedures, applicable standards, QC requirements, etc... Support Client Management of Change process, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner Provide contractor field management in all outage phases for assigned contractors, including safety, timesheet verification, field oversight, change orders, and QC verification Uphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites. Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas Complete close out and documentation as required by Client standards and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and understand P&IDs, ISO's, piping isometrics, fixed equipment design packages, and pipe specs Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote, SAP, Primavera P6. Working knowledge of
ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME
Sec. I, and ASME Sec. VIII 10+ years' experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, exchangers, pumps, hydrotesting and pipe fabrication 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Planner Previous experience building execution work packages with detailed work plans including safety matrix, picture, P&ID, isometric, bill of material, etc... TWIC WORKING HOURS
All hours outside of the Outage Execution time frame will be worked on a Monday - Friday 5-8's schedule Special occasions 4-10's may be worked to align with on-site Contractor Coordination efforts but will need prior approval During the Outage Execution time frame, you will work a Monday - Sunday 7-12's schedule
