We're seeking a talented Lead Electrical Secondary Engineer to join our Energy & Power team in Sydney. In this pivotal role, you'll work on cutting edge Transmission and Distribution projects across NSW, we are also open to those interested in moving interstate! You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of power generation and distribution, leveraging our comprehensive approach to address the complex challenges of the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver advanced Substation Secondary systems for distribution and transmission networks (22kV to 500kV). Ensure strict adherence to Jacobs' quality assurance procedures and technical standards Lead and manage engineering projects within defined scopes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Foster effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, primary electrical). Contribute to proposal development, including scope definition and cost estimation. Engage with regional clients, providing expert technical advice and supporting business growth. Mentor and develop junior engineers, enhancing our team's capabilities. Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required). Experience in High Voltage Secondary Substation design and project delivery. Proven ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients. Demonstrated capability in managing and providing technical leadership to design teams, including Global Delivery Centres. Strong track record in managing design projects in compliance with quality management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
