Authentication Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Identity Engineer to support and enhance enterprise Active Directory and Entra ID environments within a regulated financial services organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep hybrid identity expertise, strong security knowledge, and advanced automation skills to modernize and secure identity services. Required Technical Skills Active Directory & Hybrid Identity Active Directory administration and engineering Forests, domains, trusts, replication, and Group Policy Entra ID and hybrid identity architecture Entra Connect (PHS/PTA) Conditional Access, MFA, and passwordless authentication Identity lifecycle management Identity Security Tier-0 administration and security controls Zero Trust principles Identity threat detection and mitigation Authentication hardening and credential protection Privileged Access Management (PAM/PIM) Authentication Technologies Kerberos, LDAP/LDAPS, NTLM SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC) Certificate-based authentication Automation & Development Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation Graph API integration REST APIs and JSON processing Git-based source control and code management Python development preferred Monitoring & Operations Splunk and KQL query development Crowdstrike IDP Identity monitoring, reporting, and analytics Incident investigation and troubleshooting Quest Backup and Enterprise Reporter Governance & Compliance RBAC and access governance concepts Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes Audit evidence collection and compliance support Experience in regulated environments (SOX, NIST, FFIEC, NYDFS preferred) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab or Azure DevOps) Integration experience with ServiceNow, CyberArk, or Identity Governance platforms (SailPoint preferred) Thank you The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually - as applicable.
