Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. We are looking for experienced Engineers to support the 56th Civil Engineering Squadron (56 CES) in installation planning, project development, cost estimation, construction management, utility program support, engineering design, acquisition support, and project/program management activities. You will support the full lifecycle of facilities and infrastructure projects across Luke AFB.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engineering and planning support for facility and infrastructure projects from planning through construction completion. Develop project scopes, DD Form 1391 packages, AF Forms 813, planning charrette reports, and cost estimates using PACES and RSMeans. Support installation development planning, space utilization analysis, facility assessments, and community planning initiatives. Perform construction management and Title II services, including quality assurance inspections, submittal reviews, schedule reviews, progress reporting, RFI responses, and contract modification support. Provide acquisition support, market research, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), lifecycle cost analyses, and data management support. Qualifications to be successful in the role: Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering, or equivalent education and experience totaling at least eight (8) years in facility planning, design, programming, or estimating. Experience in installation planning, project development, cost estimating, construction administration, and facility management support. Capability to use tools such as PACES, AutoCAD, Revit, RSMeans, and Microsoft Office products. Must be able to pass required background investigations and meet Air Force installation access requirements. Why Planate?
