In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire engineering department, ensuring that all hotel systems—including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and industrial equipment—operate seamlessly to provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience. Your leadership will drive proactive maintenance strategies, foster a culture of safety and excellence, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about facilities management and engineering leadership to make a significant impact in a vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the engineering team to execute routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency interventions across all hotel facilities. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to optimize equipment uptime and efficiency. Oversee the operation of complex systems including HVAC, electrical distribution (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing, fire safety systems, and industrial machinery. Manage projects related to facility upgrades, renovations, or new installations, ensuring timely completion within budget. Conduct regular inspections using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify potential issues before they escalate. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards related to electrical systems (including high voltage), mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance logs, incident reports, and asset management documentation. Collaborate with other departments to support manufacturing or hospitality operations by providing technical expertise and solutions. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising technical teams in facilities or industrial environments. Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance scheduling and record keeping. Deep understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical components, electrical distribution networks, and industrial maintenance procedures. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
