At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, we are Innovating Today to Power the Devices of Tomorrow. Come innovate with us! Position Summary Internal factory bulk gas/liquid/drain capacity review owner. First level reviewer for all tools retrofit/expansion projects for different versions of air/water/exhaust/drain systems. Engineer will help evaluate local lateral capacity acceptance for early stage design of retrofit projects. Also, will help troubleshoot factory operation issues related to bulk utilities. Review and summarize full factory utility requirements for pre-build or early design requirements. Field audit and verification of install location and material type per design review throughout construction. Change order request documentation and processing for ongoing upgrades/changes to utility requirements for different tools and factory needs. Project management of schedule and task execution for a variety of factory modifications and retrofits requirement during construction phase and future retrofits.
Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
Understand utility drawings in AutoCAD. Gas/liquid lateral design in AutoCAD for new tool expansion needs. Execute in factory field walks during early design to evaluate pipe routing and interference risks. Build out of cost and schedule requirements for utility retrofits. Project management and tracking of factory retrofit utility work execution. Document control of piping specs and flow models for bulk utilities. Review tool installation packages for fitting/piping size, flow and pressure accuracy. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil). At least 4 years of experience in design or equipment/utility installation; experience in semiconductor facility support is preferred. The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
