Job Description

PROJECT MANAGER
  • ENGINEER
  • Moreno Cardenas Inc. (MCi) Consulting Engineers
  • is currently recruiting a full-time Project Manager for their El Paso, TX office.
The Project Manager will lead engineers and technical support staff in the planning, design, and construction of infrastructure projects for the El Paso Electric Company. Establishing professional client relationships from project beginning to successful project completion is a critical MCi core value and required of this position.
What You'll Do:
Be involved in the preparation of project proposals and client development Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, co-workers, public/regulatory agencies, community leaders, and other professionals Be sensitive to client timelines through effective coordination of work, budget, and schedule Lead and mentor design teams including outside project subconsultants Provide technical excellence to all assignments Perform interim project quality assurance/quality control reviews of designs and studies Provide input on company design and production standards Support MCi construction administration teams for projects in the construction phase
What You Bring:
A strong desire to professionally advance in the engineering consulting field Two to three years minimum management experience preferred A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university is preferred Understanding of Project Management principles related to the Project Management Body of Knowledge Familiarity with ArcGIS Excellent written and oral communication skills Sound engineering principles, knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and experience in general engineering software Who You Are
