• What You Will Be Doing
• As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for driving a quality‑first mindset throughout multi‑functional disciplines and ensuring compliance with industry standards\.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools\. + Conduct audits and assessments to ensure ISO 9001 / AS9100 compliance\. + Partner with engineering and manufacturing to develop and maintain quality control systems\. + Present performance briefings and technical reviews to site and program leadership\. + Mentor and develop team members, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management\.

• Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to travel, including to various production locations in across the United States and abroad\.

Experience interpreting drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products\. Advanced understanding and experience completing root cause analysis and corrective action planning\. Knowledge of Configuration Management and control processes\. Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc\. Experience with Machine Shop, Mechanical Assembly, Tooling / Gages / Fixtures, and Mechanical Inspection\. Must posses Electrical / Electro

• mechanical component experience to include experience with qualification testing and qualification testing requirements\.

• Desired Skills:

• Experience with CCB's and soldering\. Experience with NEW manufacturing facility stand
• up and ISO/AS certification requirements/pathways to facility certification\. Special Process Engineering experience\. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer \(CQE\) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate \(CQIA\)\. SAP Application experience\. Control Account Manager experience\. Bids and Proposals experience\. Demonstrated presentation skills\.

Remote Telework:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

• Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
