Physical Therapist Assistant

Coker Rehabilitation Services, Inc (www.cokerrehab.com), an established contract therapy company in business for over 20 years, is seeking a prn but preferably a full time contract 1099 PTA for adult home health for the following areas: Mesquite, Garland, Balch Springs, and east Dallas who will provide direct patient care to homebound patients. Responsibilities:

• Providing quality physical therapy treatment intervention in patient homes as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with physician orders/protocols, patient's level of function, Medicare and state licensing guidelines, and home health agency policies and procedures.
• Provide continuity of care to include consulting with supervising PT regarding patient progress or lack thereof, and reporting patient concerns to agency, including any changes in patient's condition.

Qualifications include the following:

• Current Texas License.
• Current Certification in CPR
• Valid Texas Drivers License and Insurance, with reliable transportation Why consider home health? Higher pay per hour than traditional settings Flexible scheduling 30-minute visit times Paid per visit
• can easily get 6-9 visits per day in a close area.

PTAs:

up to ~$135,000/year with two weeks vacation

Pay:

$60.00 per hour
