Job Description

Planner NSB Omega is searching for a Short term Planner (3-4 months) for our Client in Houston, TX. Assignment Description Key Responsibilities Lead development of project execution plans and planning frameworks for electrical and mechanical scopes Define and structure Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) , coding systems, and planning methodologies Facilitate planning and schedule workshops with cross-functional teams Integrate key project inputs into planning outputs, including: Procurement strategies and long-lead items Construction plans and sequencing Site logistics and phasing Temporary utilities and commissioning considerations Review and validate subcontractor plans and inputs prior to schedule integration Support development of schedule basis narratives and planning assumptions Collaborate with the Scheduler to ensure alignment between planning intent and schedule logic Inputs & Interfaces Project milestones and governance requirements Procurement logs and construction strategies Equipment lists, material take-offs, and responsibility matrices Mechanical completion and permit planning documentation Subcontractor inputs and execution plans Qualifications Proven experience in project planning for large-scale industrial or data center projects Strong understanding of construction sequencing , especially for mechanical and electrical systems Familiarity with Primavera P6 (working knowledge required; advanced scheduling not primary focus) Experience developing WBS structures and execution strategies Strong facilitation and stakeholder coordination skills Ability to translate complex project inputs into actionable plans Preferred Qualifications Experience on hyperscale data center projects Background in EPC or large capital projects Exposure to schedule risk analysis and planning tools Duration 3-4 Months (With Possibility of Extension) Location Houston, TX
