Director of Engineering leading mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering teams at a growing, privately held manufacturer serving the semiconductor equipment industry through precision sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and cleanroom assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day activities of mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering teams, overseeing three full-time engineers and one temporary employee Direct engineering support for production and assembly, including equipment, processes, work instructions, and technical solutions Promote teamwork and strong collaboration across engineering, production, quality, and other departments Communicate company goals, customer requirements, operational changes, and project status clearly to stakeholders Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and ISO procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and waste reduction Provide technical expertise in precision metal manufacturing, applied metallurgy, mechanical drawings, CAD/CAM, and manufacturing applications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering 5-7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated people-management experience Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with
