3 POSITION SUMMARY The Vice President of Supply Chain is a strategic and operational leader responsible for end-to-end supply chain management, including warehouse operations, inventory control, category management, logistics, demand planning, and purchasing. This role drives efficiency, cost optimization, service excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization's supply chain network while aligning operations with overall business objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with company growth objectives and financial goals. Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, advising on operational capabilities, risks, and opportunities. Drive transformation initiatives, including process improvement, automation, and digital supply chain solutions. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor and improve supply chain effectiveness. Warehouse Operations Oversee all warehouse and distribution center operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and fulfillment processes. Optimize warehouse layouts, labor utilization, and throughput to increase productivity and accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Implement best practices in warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation technologies. Inventory Control Lead inventory strategy to maintain optimal balance between service levels and carrying costs. Implement strong inventory controls, cycle counting, and audit processes to ensure accuracy and reduce shrinkage. Monitor inventory performance metrics, including turns, aging, and obsolescence. Collaborate with finance to align inventory management with working capital objectives. Category Management Oversee category management strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer needs, and market trends. Drive assortment planning, pricing strategies, and vendor partnerships to maximize margin and category performance. Analyze market data and customer insights to optimize product mix and lifecycle management. Work cross-functionally with sales and marketing to support promotional and growth initiatives. Logistics & Transportation Direct all inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, carrier selection, and freight optimization. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and distribution partners. Optimize transportation networks to improve delivery performance and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations. Planning (Demand & Supply Planning) Lead sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities. Improve forecast accuracy through data-driven planning tools and cross-functional collaboration. Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions. Coordinate production, procurement, and distribution plans to meet customer demand efficiently. Purchasing & Procurement Oversee all procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. Develop strategic supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and cost competitiveness. Implement supplier performance management programs and risk mitigation strategies. Drive cost savings initiatives and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements. Leadership & Team Development Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing supply chain organization across multiple functions. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Develop succession plans and invest in talent development. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the supply chain team. Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s). Valid U.S. Driver's License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3-year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy. Overtime may be required and in person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). 10-15+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5+ years in senior leadership roles. Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-site supply chain operations. Strong expertise across warehouse operations, logistics, planning, procurement, and inventory management.
