Monroe, WI or Middleton, WI Our client is seeking an experienced Controls Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automated and robotic packaging systems. This leadership role will oversee project execution, team development, engineering standards, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring successful delivery of customer solutions.
Controls Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the controls engineering team Oversee controls system design, programming, testing, and implementation Drive engineering standards, processes, and continuous improvement efforts Manage project resources, budgets, schedules, and forecasting Mentor, coach, and develop engineering team members Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and customer needs Requirements for
Controls Engineering Manager:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred 7+ years of controls/electrical engineering experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience Experience with industrial automation, robotics, and control systems Strong project management, communication, and team leadership skills Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk, servo controls, and FANUC robotics is preferred Experience in a manufacturing or automated equipment environment Ability to travel up to 25% If you're a hands-on engineering leader passionate about automation, robotics, and developing high-performing teams, we'd like to hear from you.
