Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Contents Technician and become a vital part of the restoration industry! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for cleaning, restoring, and managing contents affected by water damage, fire, mold, or other disasters. Your expertise will help clients recover their belongings efficiently and safely, ensuring a smooth restoration process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of restoration techniques and tools while making a tangible difference in people's lives during challenging times. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and restoration of damaged contents using specialized techniques and equipment Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other restoration industry equipment to disassemble, clean, and prepare items for reconditioning or disposal Operate carpet cleaning machines and other cleaning equipment to restore textiles and surfaces effectively Document all work performed accurately and maintain detailed records of contents' condition before, during, and after restoration Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and uphold safety procedures at all times Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction, cleaning, or mold remediation is highly preferred Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement processes Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and carpet cleaning equipment Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines diligently Strong physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and working in various environments Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and proper documentation Valid driver's license preferred; ability to travel between job sites as needed Join us in delivering exceptional restoration services!
