Job Description

Job Overview PuroClean is seeking a dependable and hardworking Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist with a wide range of property restoration services, including water damage mitigation, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and biohazard/trauma cleanup . You'll work directly in homes and businesses, helping customers recover from unexpected property damage with professionalism, compassion, and high-quality workmanship. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem‑solving, and making a meaningful impact during stressful situations. Responsibilities Respond to emergency service calls for water, fire, mold, and biohazard situations. Perform water mitigation tasks including extraction, drying, dehumidification, and moisture monitoring. Assist with fire and smoke cleanup, including debris removal, odor control, and detailed cleaning. Conduct mold remediation following industry standards, including containment setup, HEPA vacuuming, and antimicrobial application. Safely perform biohazard and trauma cleanup using proper PPE and decontamination procedures. Remove affected building materials (drywall, flooring, insulation) as needed. Set up, operate, and maintain restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA scrubbers, and moisture meters. Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and perform physical labor in varying conditions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow industry standards and safety protocols. Excellent communication and customer‑service skills; able to interact professionally with homeowners, businesses, and insurance representatives. Basic understanding of construction, demolition, or restoration work (preferred but not required). Comfort using smartphones/tablets for job documentation, photos, and moisture readings. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast‑paced, sometimes high‑stress environments. Willingness to learn restoration techniques for water mitigation, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and biohazard/trauma cleanup . Ability to use or learn restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA scrubbers, moisture meters, and PPE. Availability for on‑call rotation, including evenings and weekends. IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, AMRT, etc.) are a plus but not required — we will train the right candidate.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
