Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Biohazard Technician to safely clean, disinfect, and remediate environments contaminated with biological hazards. This role is essential in restoring affected spaces to a safe and sanitary condition with professionalism, discretion, and care. Biohazard Technicians may respond to a variety of situations and must be comfortable working in challenging environments while following strict safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Perform cleaning, disinfection, and remediation of biohazard‑contaminated areas Safely handle, package, and dispose of biohazardous materials in accordance with regulations Use specialized cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals properly Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain detailed documentation of work performed Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean working condition Adhere to confidentiality and sensitivity standards at all times Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Comfortable working in physically demanding environments Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods Comfortable wearing PPE, including respirators (when required) Preferred (but Not Required) Prior experience in biohazard cleanup, remediation, or environmental services HAZWOPER, OSHA, or similar safety training Experience working on on‑call or emergency response teams To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
