Job Description
Facilities Maintenance Technician - Night Shift- $29/hour Overview We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations across multiple buildings. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage a wide range of facility-related tasks. Key Responsibilities Respond to and complete work orders across multiple facilities Assist with general maintenance projects and ongoing facility tasks Perform mechanical work , including: Painting, drywall patching, and minor repairs Hanging fixtures (pictures, whiteboards, TVs) Furniture assembly and filter changes Conduct electrical maintenance , such as: Replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures Complete plumbing repairs , including: Fixing leaks (sinks, faucets) Adjusting toilets and minor plumbing systems Identify HVAC concerns and escalate issues as needed Coordinate with and oversee external vendors, ensuring quality completion of work Utilize a CMMS system to manage and log work orders via iPad or iPhone Required Skills & Experience 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience Working knowledge of: Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Preventive maintenance and repair practices Proficiency with hand and power tools Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independently Comfortable using mobile devices and systems to track workflow Strong team collaboration skills Experience working with contractors/vendors is preferred Familiarity with CMMS or building automation systems is a plus Additional Qualifications 1+ year of experience working in a facility setting Strong work ethic and dependable attitude Ability to stay productive and manage multiple tasks Why Join Us Strong focus on internal career growth and promotions Competitive compensation package Full benefits: health, dental, vision 401(k) with company match Generous parental leave policy Opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing organization (on track for $1B growth) Collaborative, mission-driven team environment Work Environment Work across five properties including office, warehouse, and manufacturing spaces Regular travel between North Scottsdale and Deer Valley locations, but based in Mesa. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
