The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restoration industry practices and be committed to restoring properties efficiently and safely. This role involves hands-on work with various tools and equipment, requiring attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and quality. Duties Perform water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes Conduct fire restoration tasks such as soot removal, cleaning, and odor control Execute mold remediation procedures following industry standards Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair work Conduct surface cleaning tasks as needed Support construction-related activities during the restoration process Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency Follow all safety protocols and industry guidelines during mitigation activities Requirements Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly preferred, especially in fire, water, or mold remediation Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of hand tools and power tools Ability to operate construction equipment and perform demolition tasks safely Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environmental conditions Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to different mitigation scenarios Valid driver's license is preferred for transportation between job sites Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods This position offers an opportunity to develop skills within the restoration industry while contributing to meaningful recovery efforts for clients.
