PFAS Leader Featured
LOCATION
San Francisco, CA TYPE Direct Hire ID j-2685 Our client is looking for a PFAS and emerging contaminant expert who will be solving complex issues that matter to communities, industries, and ecosystems worldwide. The PFAS Leader has the chance to influence regulatory frameworks, deliver innovative solutions, and develop global strategies that make a real difference. The PFAS Leader will drive technical excellence and strategic direction for PFAS site investigation and remediation projects across North America and globally; serve as a trusted advisor to clients guiding them through regulatory complexities and risk management; and share best practices and mentor the next generation of technical experts.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead and continue development of a progressive national PFAS practice Build, maintain, and manage client relationships and projects Develop and provide consultation on complex remedial treatment options Provide leadership, coaching and supervision to remediation engineers and scientists, and oversight of remedial subcontractors Design and implement field pilot studies for in situ technologies Oversee field work and lab testing
Qualifications:
15+ years of site remediation experience Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering P.E., P.G. or other professional certification preferred Superior technical knowledge of PFAS & emerging contaminants remediation, paired with excellent analytical and critical thinking Experience with aviation and industrial projects preferred Proven experience in leading and managing remedial designs and implementation operations Demonstrated ability to build and develop client relationships and a pipeline of PFAS remediation business Strong leadership, mentorship, and managerial skills, with the ability to engage team members both in-person and remotely Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, while maintaining quality and attention to detail Strong communication and report writing skills Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
