Pueblo, CO About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for fieldwork. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering and brings 3-7 years of handson experience navigating complex environmental regulations in a manufacturing or industrial setting. This individual thrives in an onsite environment, enjoys being closely connected to operations, and is comfortable working across teams to ensure environmental compliance and continuous improvement. Experience with NSPS, PSD/NSR, NESHAP, and Title V regulations is essential. Familiarity with statespecific environmental requirements and prior exposure to cement, lime, minerals, or other sourcecategory industries is a strong plus. What You Will Do Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permit requirements. Identify environmental impacts and support strategies to reduce the overall environmental footprint of operations. Manage environmental projects and compliance activities across plant and terminal locations. Conduct site inspections and audits, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely followup. Gather operational data and prepare environmental permit applications. Facilitate regulatory agency inspections and support leadership in demonstrating compliance. Analyze environmental performance metrics and communicate results to stakeholders. Develop compliance strategies to meet regulatory requirements and track deadlines. Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies. Perform statistical analysis, maintain compliance records, and ensure timely submission of required documentation. Assess environmental risks and advise on mitigation strategies. Plan and support sampling, testing, and monitoring of regulated pollutants. Evaluate current and proposed regulations to determine operational impacts. Identify environmental issues requiring capital investment and support funding requests. Conduct environmental training for plant personnel. Develop action plans to reduce environmental impacts and support continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering preferred. Strong preference for candidates who enjoy spending significant time in the field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 3-7 years of environmental experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong working knowledge of air and water regulations , including NSPS, PSD/NSR, NESHAP, and Title V. Familiarity with state environmental regulations is a plus. Experience in cement, lime, minerals, or other heavy industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
