The Role:

We are hiring a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead environmental compliance work for our industrial client base. This is a senior-level role — not entry-level or a technician position — for someone with hands-on consulting experience who's ready to own client relationships and technical deliverables. You'll manage a team of environmental scientists and engineers, and have real latitude to build and run your own client accounts as you grow with the firm. Expect a mix of fieldwork (~20% travel) and report/permit writing, with direct client contact from day one. What You'll Do Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments to evaluate contamination and liability risk Perform fieldwork including stormwater sampling, quarterly site inspections, and annual comprehensive inspections Serve as a client-facing technical contact — providing guidance, project updates, and compliance recommendations Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and correspondence with regulatory agencies Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations Collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists on integrated environmental solutions Manage and mentor environmental scientists and engineers Build the business by developing and managing your own client relationships What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering Experience with Phase I and/or Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Experience with stormwater inspections, sampling, or NPDES compliance Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (~20%) Nice to Have Experience preparing technical reports and regulatory submittals Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools Working knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations Air permitting experience Prior experience mentoring or supervising junior staff Benefits Health and dental coverage Paid time off Free gym membership How to Apply.
