Paid time off Vision insurance Dental insurance Training & development 401(k) Competitive salary Health insurance ️ Lead Technician / Crew Chief - Restoration Services We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Lead Technician / Crew Chief to take charge of field operations during restoration projects involving water, fire, mold, and smoke damage. You'll lead crews, manage job quality, and serve as the point of contact for customers and adjusters—making a real difference for people when disaster strikes.
What You'll Do:
Lead water, fire, and mold mitigation jobs (demolition, drying, cleaning, equipment setup) Supervise and train technicians onsite; ensure work is done safely and correctly Document everything: job notes, photos, moisture readings, and drying logs using mobile software Explain the job process to homeowners and property managers in a clear, professional way Communicate with adjusters and internal team to resolve issues and keep jobs on track Complete job sketches and scopes; experience with Xactimate is a plus Review and ensure proper documentation for insurance compliance Perform quality checks, get customer sign-offs, and collect payments when needed Enforce safety rules and company policies at each job site
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean record Prior experience in restoration or construction (mitigation strongly preferred) Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills Comfortable managing small crews and mentoring newer techs Experience with job tracking software (e.g., Moisture Mapper, MICA, DASH, etc.) IICRC certifications a big plus:
WRT, ASD, FSRT, OCT
Familiarity with Xactimate is a bonus
Physical Requirements:
Lift and carry up to 70 lbs regularly Stand, bend, crawl, and squat for extended periods Work in hot, cold, wet, or dusty environments Wear tight-fitting respirators and safety gear when required
