In this energetic role, you will be responsible for meticulously cleaning, removing, and restoring contents affected by disaster scenarios. Your hands-on skills and restoration industry knowledge will help clients recover their belongings efficiently and effectively, ensuring a smooth recovery process during challenging times. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference while honing your skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform detailed cleaning and restoration of contents damaged by fire, water, mold, or other causes using appropriate techniques and equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to dismantle or prepare items for cleaning or restoration processes. Conduct pack out and pack in of customer items. Packing with effieceny and care, making sure to minimize damages. Assist with construction-related tasks such as packing, moving, or minor repairs to facilitate content restoration efforts. Operate carpet cleaning equipment and perform specialized cleaning tasks to restore textiles and upholstery. Document all work performed accurately, including before-and-after photos, detailed reports, and inventory logs. Follow safety guidelines diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly preferred, especially with fire and water damage restoration projects. Knowledge of mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and general construction practices is a strong advantage. Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools required for content handling and restoration tasks. Experience with carpet cleaning techniques and equipment is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently in physically demanding situations while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. A proactive attitude with a commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.
