Senior Level Salary:
$125,000 - $175,000 per year Job Details - The Senior Environmental Engineer will be a key player within our innovative construction company, providing expert knowledge and leadership in the field of environmental engineering. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a passion for sustainability and a track record of excellence in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of environmental projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This includes a focus on sewer, shoring, drainage, civil engineering, bridge, erosion control, and wastewater engineering tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide leadership in the planning, design, and implementation of environmental engineering projects, including sewer, shoring, drainage, and erosion control systems. 2. Oversee the development and execution of wastewater engineering projects, ensuring they meet all local, state, and federal regulations. 3. Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies. 4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, construction managers, and environmental scientists, to deliver projects on time and within budget. 5. Advise on sustainable construction practices, promoting environmental responsibility across all company operations. 6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior environmental engineers. 7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, ensuring the company's environmental strategies remain cutting-edge and compliant.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering within the construction industry, with a focus on sewer, shoring, drainage, civil engineering, bridge, and erosion control projects. 3. Proven experience in wastewater engineering, including the design, implementation, and management of wastewater systems. 4. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. 5. Excellent knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations. 6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff. 7. Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. 8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential environmental risks and propose effective mitigation strategies. 9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex environmental concepts to non-experts. 10. A passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmental responsibility in the construction industry.
