Environmental Engineer (South Haven, MI)

Salary :

$90-103K/year + 5% Bonus Job Description Join our team as an Environmental Engineer and play a vital role in protecting the environment and ensuring the responsible operation of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in South Haven, Michigan. You'll be the go-to expert for environmental compliance, working to ensure our regulatory compliance, optimize our processes and maintain a positive impact on our site & community. This role is on-site in South Haven, Michigan and reports the Senior Technical Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities Ensure Compliance:

Manage and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, and reporting deadlines.

Permit Expertise:

Review, update, and manage environmental permits as needed, working collaboratively with regulatory agencies.

Conduct Site Assessments:

Perform regular site inspections to identify and address potential environmental concerns.

WWTP & Utilities Optimization:

Contribute to improvements in our on-site wastewater treatment plant and utility systems, enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

Pollution Assessment & Solutions:

Analyze environmental data related to air, land, water, and waste generation, recommending solutions to minimize environmental impact.

Regulatory Liaison:

Serve as the key point of contact with environmental regulatory agencies.
