Duties Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques Conduct fire damage mitigation, including debris removal, soot cleaning, and odor control to restore affected areas Execute mold remediation procedures safely and effectively to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues Utilize hand tools and power tools for construction-related repairs such as drywall replacement, flooring removal, and surface cleaning Assist with asbestos abatement processes following strict safety protocols to ensure environmental health standards are met Clean and sanitize affected areas thoroughly using industry-approved methods like carpet cleaning and surface disinfecting Document all mitigation activities accurately for reporting purposes and ensure compliance with safety regulations Skills Proven experience in cleaning, fire restoration, water damage restoration, or mold remediation within the restoration industry preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques used in property repair and renovation Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures and safety standards is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely Excellent physical stamina to perform demanding tasks involving lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients during mitigation projects Ability to operate equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols and industry regulations Embark on a rewarding career where your skills contribute directly to helping people rebuild their lives.
