As an Environmental Engineer at Micron, you will have the outstanding opportunity to ensure compliance while encouraging balanced growth and operational excellence. - Create, carry out, and refine environmental compliance programs to align with federal, state, and local requirements
- Manage air, water, stormwater, natural resource permits, and spill prevention programs, including inspections and reporting
- Lead hazardous waste compliance activities including inspections, shipments, and program oversight
- Conduct environmental audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions aligned with
ISO14001
- Support construction projects and contractors to ensure environmental requirements are met ##
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience coordinating environmental compliance programs
- Working knowledge of CWA, CAA, RCRA, CERCLA, and
ISO14001
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills ##
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading small teams or cross-functional projects
- Experience supporting regulatory inspections and external audits
- Background in both construction and operational environmental compliance
