This role requires a self-motivated professional who is eager to help grow our firm by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, preparing proposals, securing projects, managing project teams, and executing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing new and maintaining existing client and regulatory relationships. Identify and pursue new business development opportunities through networking, client engagement, and market research. Assist in shaping company strategies and operational improvements to support growth. Prepare proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new projects. Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Perform engineering work including design, analysis, and technical problem solving. Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and consultants. Coordinate, plan, and implement environmental sampling and field work. Monitor project performance, budgets, and deliverables. Mentor staff and provide appropriate training opportunities for development and advancement.
Qualifications:
B.S. and/or M.S. in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. Professional Engineer or Geologist license. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the environmental field with progressive levels of responsibility. Experience/expertise in the areas of environmental compliance, solid waste management, construction quality assurance, biogas, underground injection control, stormwater, groundwater, remediation, and/or site development. Experience in both project management and business development within the civil engineering industry. Experience with relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, etc.) Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills. Ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a dynamic, small-business environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Why Join Us?
