As part of our Waste sector, you'll help shape solid waste infrastructure and environmental stewardship. You'll collaborate closely with clients and communities to design sustainable, cost-effective systems that contribute to cleaner environments and healthier communities. In the role of Civil/Environmental EIT, we'll count on you to: Assist Senior Engineers in environmental remediation projects that include remediation design and implementation Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures Complete projects that have clear, specified objectives and limited variables Perform administrative duties associated with project management for environmental remediation projects Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects Complete duties requiring field work and travel as needed Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression Hazwoper 40 hour training Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and GIS experience Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field Strong written and verbal communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
