Job Description:

We are seeking a BigID Engineer / Information Governance Engineer to support data discovery and remediation initiatives. This role focuses on improving data classification accuracy and converting findings into actionable remediation workflows. Key Responsibilities Execute and monitor data discovery scans across key data sources Develop and tune classifiers (regex, NER, pattern matching) to reduce false positives Analyze sensitive data findings and identify risks (PII, retention, aged data) Create and manage remediation tickets in Jira / ServiceNow Apply proper tagging, routing, and tracking of data issues Build and support repeatable workflows from discovery to remediation Maintain process documentation and improvements Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with BigID Experience in classifier development/tuning (regex, NER, pattern matching) Experience with ticketing tools (Jira / ServiceNow) Understanding of structured vs. unstructured data Basic scripting/querying (SQL, Python, APIs) Knowledge of data governance, privacy, or data security concepts Nice to Have Experience in data remediation programs Exposure to automation/workflow tools Success Metrics Improved classification accuracy Effective conversion of findings into remediation tickets Scalable and repeatable governance workflows At
