Job Description Environmental Engineer | Heavy Manufacturing We are partnered with a leading industrial manufacturer in the Roanoke Valley who is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and decarbonization efforts at a large-scale manufacturing facility. In recent years, the company has earned environmental and sustainability recognition and has made significant investments in improving environmental performance, compliance systems, and long-term sustainability initiatives . This role offers strong visibility, hands on impact, and long-term growth within a stable, values driven organization. What You'll Do
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
  • Monitor and analyze environmental data related to emissions and permits
  • Partner with operations and leadership to improve environmental performance
  • Support environmental improvement and decarbonization projects
  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of environmental experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance and permitting
