What they do
An Environmental Engineer develops solutions to environmental problems using engineering, biology, chemistry, and geology. Addresses pollution control, waste disposal, recycling, or public health issues. Works on local environmental issues, such as polluted groundwater, or global or regional issues, such as acid rain. Works with environmental scientists and public policymakers to identify problems and develop technologies that benefit people and protect the environment.

Job Description Requirements:
- 5 years of environmental compliance experience and a bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental
- studies, chemical engineering, or similar degree.
- Experience annual and bi-annual Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Dangerous Waste Reports.
- Experience preparing annual Tier II inventories and reviewing hazardous material inventories.
- Experience reviewing Department of Transportation hazardous waste manifests for accuracy.
- Experience auditing facilities to for compliance with environmental (Waste, Stormwater, Wastewater, Air) Preferred experience:
- Experience reviewing and preparing hazardous waste profiles.
- Experience with chemical inventorying software (CisPro) and environmental management systems (Enablon)
- Experience with industrial wastewater discharge systems and wastewater discharge permitting.
- Experience reviewing emissions inventories and ozone depleting substance inventories.
- Experience reviewing construction drawings and spec sheets.
- Experience reviewing analytical sampling lab results.
- Experience with structured query language.
