Nevada County is nestled in California's Sierra Nevada foothills, about an hour outside Sacramento and two hours from the San Francisco Bay Area. This position is part of the Server Team and operates under the guidance of a Senior Analyst. This role supports our enterprise vision of delivering exceptional community services by implementing, managing, and maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing systems. Our infrastructure spans multiple locations and encompasses both primary and backup data centers, as well as cloud-hosted environments. Nevada County supports flexible work schedules and the possibility of working remotely several days per week. You will be working with our award-winning group of Network Analysts, Desktop Technicians and Applications Analysts . In addition to being skilled professionals in a wide array of technologies, maintain life-work balance through a variety of activities from mountain biking and backpacking to art and music. Qualified candidates must have current knowledge in many of these areas but is not required to be an expert on all: Microsoft Windows Server Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022 Active Directory Management & GPO SQL SSL Certificates PowerShell Cloud services Azure M365 Exchange Online OneDrive Intune

Level I:
Completion of two years of college-level work in information systems, computer science, or a closely related field. OR Completion of two years of college-level work in any subject and two years of technical work experience. OR Five years of directly related technical computer services work experience. Level II (in addition to the above): Two years experience performing work equivalent to Nevada County's classification of Network System Analyst I.
