Job Description

Job Description Insight global is looking for a Throughput Simulation Engineer in the Warren, Michigan area. The throughput simulation engineer is going to be responsible for executing throughput analysis and tasks with a lead engineer. This role will help to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in a typical program's processes
  • in workbook based throughput simulation modeling, custom special studies, and custom plant support).
Other responsibilities include:
  •  Support team with throughput simulations.
  •  Facilitate new vehicle programs by utilizing workbook-based throughput simulation models with the general assembly dataset.
  •  Conduct custom studies to assist new vehicle programs, execution teams, and manufacturing plants.
  •  Troubleshoot and debug throughput simulation models.
  •  Travel to plant sites as needed
Compensation:
$50/hr to $55/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.   •  6+ years of experience with throughput simulation software
  • CDraw2 or plant simulation
  •  Experience translating plant layouts into simulation models using AutoDesk Design Review & AutoCAD
  •  Knowledge of general assembly processes
