Job Description

Overview NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Part-time Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team supporting industrial partners in the King of Prussia greater area. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer (ATC), exercise physiologist, or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). This position has the ability to grow to full-time status with additional local commitments. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. This dynamic role integrates ergonomics, employee education and coaching, preventive exercise programs, early intervention strategies, and health and wellness services to reduce workplace injuries and enhance overall employee well-being.

Weekdays (hours vary), 24 hours per week
Compensation:
$30.00 - $40.00, hourly, based on years of experience •Additional Sports Med hours available for certified athletic trainers (ATC)•

Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree Minimum one year of experience CPR certification Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an industrial setting
