Job Description
Position Summary The Maintenance Technician supports the reliable operation of building systems and facilities across Premium Property Management's portfolio. This hands-on role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity of assets while contributing to positive tenant and resident experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems. Execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend asset life. Diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently. Coordinate with contractors for specialized services. Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Maintain detailed records, work orders, and equipment documentation. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and safe. Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered). Minimum 3 years of building maintenance or facilities engineering experience. Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Experience in commercial or multifamily properties a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
