Job Description

Critical Facilities Technician - Data Center Operations Day OR Night Shift A rapidly growing data center organization is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of mission-critical infrastructure within a hyperscale environment. This role is heavily involved in maintaining uptime across power, cooling, and facility systems that support large-scale data center operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine walkthroughs and inspections of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems Monitor facility monitoring platforms and respond to alarms or abnormal operating conditions Perform maintenance and repairs on critical infrastructure including generators, UPS systems, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, and switchgear Support troubleshooting efforts and respond quickly to operational issues or equipment failures Document maintenance activity, inspections, and repairs within CMMS platforms Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors during maintenance activities and projects Follow operational procedures and safety standards within a 24/7 critical environment Qualifications Background in data centers, critical facilities, industrial maintenance, or related technical operations Understanding of electrical distribution, cooling systems, controls, and building infrastructure Experience working with BMS, DCIM, or CMMS systems preferred Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in fast-paced operational environments Comfortable working around critical equipment, climbing ladders, and performing physical maintenance tasks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and spend extended periods walking or standing To apply, email pc@libertyjobs.com your resume.
