This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled installer who takes pride in quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and professional growth. Position Summary The HVAC Installation Engineer is responsible for installing residential heating, cooling, heat pump, ductless, indoor air quality, and ductwork systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional installations. Responsibilities Install residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality products Perform equipment replacements, complete system installations, and ductwork modifications Verify proper airflow, refrigerant charge, and overall system performance Complete startup procedures and commissioning documentation Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members Follow safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures Assist with mentoring apprentices and junior installers Accurately complete job documentation and installation reports Qualifications 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred EPA Certification required Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, airflow, and HVAC system operation Experience with heat pumps and high-efficiency equipment preferred Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Compensation & Benefits $35 - $50 per hour depending on experience Annual earning potential of $75,000 - $120,000+ Performance-based bonus opportunities Company vehicle Company fuel card Company-provided tools and equipment Paid training and professional development Paid time off and holidays Uniforms provided Advancement opportunities Ideal Candidate The successful candidate is motivated, dependable, technically skilled, and committed to delivering high-quality installations while providing an exceptional customer experience.
