This position offers excellent compensation, a company vehicle, and opportunities for long-term career growth. Position Summary The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and optimizing residential HVAC systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, technical expertise, and outstanding customer service skills. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality equipment Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and airflow-related issues Provide repair recommendations and explain options to homeowners Complete service documentation accurately and professionally Maintain inventory and organization of company vehicle and tools Participate in on-call rotation as needed Follow all safety procedures and industry best practices Deliver a professional and customer-focused experience on every service call Qualifications 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred EPA Certification required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience servicing heat pumps, variable-speed systems, and communicating equipment preferred Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules effectively Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Excellent communication and customer service abilities Compensation & Benefits $38 - $55 per hour depending on experience Annual earning potential of $85,000 - $140,000+ Performance and incentive bonus opportunities Company vehicle Company fuel card Company-provided tools and equipment Paid training and continuing education Paid time off and holidays Uniforms provided Career advancement opportunities Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a problem solver who enjoys helping customers, takes pride in their work, and has the technical ability to diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems efficiently and professionally.
