Job Description

Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to assist in leading and directing our Engineering Department. Work for a highly prestigious hotel located in sunny Carmel Valley, California. Learn and grow within a strong hospitality operation. Key Accountabilities Accountable for the operation, repairs and maintenance of the buildings, furniture/fixtures, and engineering facilities of the property. Assists engineering operations by following equipment manufacturer recommendations, property policies and procedures, and operational schedules and requirements. Oversee preventative maintenance program, staff training and equipment repairs. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members Assist in managing the engineering team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget General Requirements 2 years' experience in the Hotel/Motel/Resort Engineering industry and/or the construction industry Possession of a valid California Driver's License Knowledge of all maintenance facets, including but not limited to: Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, pool maintenance, refrigeration, and lock repair Capable of quickly evaluating, troubleshooting and decision making Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of meeting deadlines as required. Work efficiently with minimal supervision
Salary:
$90,000- 100,000 per year
