Position Overview As the Senior Facilities Building Engineer at Nikon AM Synergy, you will fill a key role within our advanced manufacturing facility, responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of facilities and production-related equipment. Reporting to Director of Engineering and Operations, this position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee a small team. You will need to operate with autonomy to solve diverse and complex problems, excel at managing multiple projects at a time and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As the owner of our critical infrastructure, you will be responsible for infrastructure uptime to support manufacturing operations. You will work directly with other managers, supervisors, leads, technicians and external vendors to support these goals. You will play a critical role in maintaining the organization's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ensuring compliance with various industry standards (OSHA, State, Local, ISO14001, and AS9100D), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Director of Engineering and Operations Responsible for: Manage and oversee a small team of technicians Manage and oversee contractors for professional repairs, ensuring quality service, timely response, and fair pricing through effective negotiation and vendor relationship management Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure optimal operation Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and production-related equipment Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to keep equipment operational Oversee the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality Identify and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing corrective measures to address them promptly Oversee the implementation and adherence to our EH&S program Manage and employ our Computerized Maintenance Management System Other duties may be assigned. Skills and Qualifications Fundamental understanding of the engineering principles behind Air Conditioning Systems Process Chillers Facility wide argon distribution systems Compressed air systems Cranes Ability to problem solve within complex systems to ensure up time by taking a hands-on approach Fluent in reading blueprints, repair/maintenance manuals and other technical documentation to support problem solving Experience with using the tools of the trade including, multimeters, computer systems, sensors, and a mechanics toolbox to support diagnostic assessment and repair of complex systems. Attention to detail and a dogged persistence to solve problems completely An understanding that problems arise at all times of day, night, weekends and holidays and our facility needs to run smoothly 24/7 365 days a year Extremely professional presentation om the presence of colleagues and contractors alike. Proficient at data analysis in MS Excel Adept at presentation generation in MS PowerPoint Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed but work collaboratively with teams to solve challenging problems. A clear understanding of EH&S regulations and an ability to work collaboratively to implement and manage these systems. General Requirements

10+ years in the maintenance and facilities management field
REQUIRED
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance as required for this position. Ongoing employment is contingent upon maintaining the clearance.
REQUIRED
