ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and dependable Engineering & Facilities Support Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role supporting engineering development, product builds, shop operations, facility activities and overall business objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who demonstrates integrity, accountability, sound judgment and a strong sense of ownership. They are resourceful, adaptable, and thrive in environments where priorities can shift quickly, while consistently delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision. This is an on-site position in Sunnyvale, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow mechanical, electrical and piping drawings to assemble, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair test rigs, prototypes and HVAC equipment. Build, modify, and maintain refrigeration, thermal, airflow, liquid-flow and electro-mechanical systems. Troubleshoot electrical and control systems. Construct, modify, and repair test equipment, fixtures and shop infrastructure. Receive, inspect, unload and distribute incoming shipments. Perform general facilities maintenance for minor repairs, installations and workspace improvements. Maintain a clean, safe and organized facility and shop environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, shop, facilities or technical support role. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision for completion of day to day tasks and projects, meeting deadlines without oversight. Skilled with hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and basic fabrication equipment. Demonstrated ability to build, assemble, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to visualize assemblies and systems in 3D. Able lto operate pallet jacks and handle large shipments safely. Strong attention to detail, integrity and accountability Excellent verbal communication skills. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $33.86 to $52.87 hourly with an equity award (4 year vest) on hire. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and work location, consistent with applicable law.
