Task Force Chief Engineer (Travel/Remote) Peregrine Hospitality - 2.5 Denver, CO Job Details $85,000 a year 18 hours ago Qualifications Facilities life safety systems Electrical systems facility management Electrical maintenance Technical Proficiency Full Job Description The Task Force Chief Engineer provides interim engineering and maintenance support to hotel properties in need of short-term assistance. This role ensures operational continuity, safety, and maintenance standards are upheld while supporting the on-site engineering team with day-to-day repairs, systems oversight, and project management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. Support preventative maintenance schedules and complete work orders in a timely manner. Respond to emergency calls related to facilities and guest issues. Responsible for overseeing hotel renovation, capital construction, and major maintenance projects. Collaborate with property leadership to uphold brand standards and safety compliance. Provide guidance and hands-on support during transitions, openings, renovations, or leadership vacancies. Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and leadership to ensure smooth operations. Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.Requirements:
3+ years in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance. Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety). Ability to travel and work flexible hours during assignments. Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on technical ability. EPA certification, CPO license, or other trade certifications preferred.Pay:
The pay range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 plus incentive eligibility based on performance.Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
