INTERNAL CAREER SITE

Position Summary:

This position assists with repairs, maintenance and installation on all air conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems throughout the complex including troubleshooting electrical/electronic and pneumatic controls.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

includes but not limited to: Repairs and maintains air handlers, exhaust and supply fans and their appurtenant equipment Trouble shoots, repairs and maintains refrigeration equipment and systems Tests electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment Installs, connects and adjusts thermostats, humidistats and timers, using hand tools Assists with preventative maintenance records and log books

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assembles, positions and mounts heating or cooling equipment, following blueprints Accomplishes other work as directed Assists with snow removal as necessary

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Two years of experience in the licensed trade or two years schooling in the appropriate field may be substituted for equivalent work experience requirements. High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass both a verbale and technical proficiency test and demonstrate skills necessary to perform specific job functions Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable through the company provider Must be able to read and work from blueprints

Competencies :

Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: Good written and communication skills Has a firm knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety requirements of the trade Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices used in the trade Familiar with the running building management systems for HVAC and Stationary (CUP)

Training Requirements:

OSHA Lockout/Tag out procedures Spill prevention control and countermeasure training Respirator training and fit tested Man lifts training (scissor and boom lift) Forklift training Confined space training Fall Protection Mohegan Sun will be offering online training to work towards the completion of your trade license

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a casino environment with possible exposure to secondhand smoke Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
