Full-Time Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Building Superintendent / Facilities Engineer to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a multi-unit residential portfolio in South Florida. This is a hands-on role for a skilled professional who can take ownership of building systems, respond to issues quickly, and maintain properties in excellent working condition. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, and comfortable working extended hours as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across building systems Maintain and service HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building infrastructure Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance Identify problems early and implement effective solutions Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors when required Ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently at all times Maintain organized records of maintenance activity, repairs, and ongoing issues Work Environment & Expectations This is a working, hands-on position — not a supervisory-only role Must be available for extended hours, evenings, and weekends as needed Ability to respond to urgent maintenance issues in a timely manner Strong sense of accountability and ownership Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Qualifications Minimum 5+ years experience in building maintenance, facilities engineering, or superintendent roles Strong working knowledge of: HVAC systems Plumbing systems Electrical systems General building maintenance Experience supporting multi-unit residential properties preferred Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues without constant escalation Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Valid driver's license Must live in Southeast Florida (Miami-Dade area preferred) Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred Compensation & Benefits $150,000
